| Please, briefly describe the CBC activity you wanted to pursue | EGTC-GPN hired a consultant to conduct a study on interoperability among toll systems Galicia and Norte Portugal, with the aim of providing an analysis of the current situation, the alternative techniques and the conclusions on the measures that could be taken.In the implementation of tolls in Portugal, a study was undertaken by the University of Santiago de Compostela to analyze the impact that this action had on trade relations Galicia-Norte of Portugal, in order to know the direct and indirect costs arising from the deployment of such systems in areas with high volume of border trade.The GNP-EGTC has also organized a discussion to clarify the information on tolls (“SCUT”) in Portugal, particularly in Norte Portugal. This meeting was attended by representatives from Xunta de Galicia, CCDR-N and prominent members of business organizations on both sides of the border. |
