1. The Police Force of the Federal Land of Brandenburg created the post of Commissioner for German-Polish Relations as an independent organisational unit, in order to coordinate German-Polish Police cooperation.
2. In the German-Polish border region, crime prevention measures focused on the organisation of joint patrols as an integral part of direct cooperation between Police stations and district headquarters. These joint patrols are deployed at special events such as folk festivals and major events in a bid to prevent administrative offenses and criminal offenses that can be classified specifically as mass criminality.- 2012
