Limerick is a Municipality in the Republic of Ireland, located in the south-west of the country, close to the mouth of the River Shannon, which flows through it. It is the capital of the county of the same name in the historic province of Munster. Limerick has a population of 90,000 inhabitants and a population density of 1,754.39 inhabitants/km².
